Garage Door/Garage Door Opener1. Make sure to check the interior and the exterior of the garage door for damage, if there is no garage door opener open and close the door to determine if it operates.  Check the garage door frame and springs for any noticeable problem, (recommend to never repairing garage door springs yourself unless you are a professional for these are very dangerous).2. All garage door openers should be run and the auto reverse should be checked and make sure the electronic eyes are properly installed.    You should also make the garage door opener is plugged in to a dedicate outlet not into a extension cord.Electrical Outlets/Light Fixture1. The electrical outlets in the garage should be grounded and should be GFCI protected according to today’s standards. Make sure you also check to make sure all garage light fixtures are operating.
